As urban centers continue to be the fastest growing segment of the world’s population base, the need for a Christ centered and strategic approach to ministry becomes increasingly important.  To do this, we must set aside secondary differences and take up the mantle of co-laboring with other like-minded ministries.  It is this multifaceted picture that the student will be viewing as we “do the work of the ministry” with partner organizations and churches participating in this educational process.

OUR GOAL…

• Instilling a missionary vision and dedication to service in the urban centers worldwide.
• Engaging students in opportunities to win the lost to Christ by educating them in a variety of evangelistic environments and methods.
• Affording students opportunities to serve in multiple spheres of Christian service.
• Modeling through mentoring, a Christ-like and compassionate response to social needs in both our attitude and our actions.
• Developing skills in applying biblical principles to the diverse situations presented in an urban setting.
• Modeling and assisting in the development of servant-leader qualities (i.e. initiative, ability to plan, organize, direct, and supervise).
• Developing a living sensitivity, motivated by the love of Christ, toward serving others.
